Walton County, Florida enjoys diverse culture, unique natural ecosystems and the world’s most beautiful white sand beaches.  We also have created many ways to enjoy them.  We have an incredible bike path system along the gulf side villages and through the forest.  We have state and national forests for horseback riding and hunting.  We have the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico and the Choctawhatchee Bay for boating, fishing, surfing, scuba diving and soaking up the sun.  We also boast the historic homes of DeFuniak Springs and the annual Chautauqua Festival.
